Busted Cv Boot

Hello, I have a 1998 Honda Fourtrax 300 and I busted one of the cv boots on the inside of the axle. When I go to replace it is there a way i can take the axle off from the inside to put the boot on.? Or do I have to take the whole axle off to replace the boot.If so how do I do this?
