i have a 2005 450r that will run fine up to half throttle after that at cuts out and loses all power. i already changed the plug and cleaned the carb. any ideas?

Does it do it even in nuetral? Every gear? Either jetting or CDI going out would be my first guess.

yes it does it in every gear and in neutral except when the choke is on

If it doesn't do it with the choke on, you need to rejet. You are running to lean, the choke richens it up.

Did it just start this out of the blue?

Just tell the bike shop your condition and tell them you need to richen your air/fuel ratio. They should get you set.

Have you recently done any upgrades? A jet could be clogged if it just started out of the blue.
