Currently in the process of getting my 300 road registered in the UK. I need brake lights!

Do all 500 foreman front master cylinders have a stop light switch fitted?

Also, which Honda ATV’s have a brake light switch on the rear foot brake or park brake lever?

300's built for Maine , USA , had a brake switch on the rear brake foot lever , finding one would be hard
If you come across one, snap it up for me lol.

Does your 450 have one on the rear lever Fish?

No the 450 doesn't have a brake light , the chinese clone bikes mostly have brake lights ,do you'll have a lot of them over there ----you could make you own set up on the foot brake with a bracket and a micro switch , but going in the mud ad water would be hard on it

I'm not sure if this helps at all but the 1999 300ex does have a rear brake with micro switch. I have no idea if they are compatible.

I could swear the 250EX has a tail light/brake light setup, but I'm reading that it's only a tail light....

I'll have to investigate tonight!

I believe u can buy a little switch (most likely off eBay) but will require a dual filment bulb.

The 05-11 Foremans and 05-14 Rubicons have a brake light switch on the foot brake as well. I actually removed the brake pedal on my 06 because with the 450 swingarm the cable didn't reach and I never used it anyway. If I can find the switch I took off I'll send it to you. Maybe you can rig it up to work on your 300.

^^^^^This ones fr a trx350 model, i can't advise on a part number swop

This is the correct part # 35351-hc5-880 (brake stay)

I was....... Going to do that same mod, but went with a brake banjo switch, my second brake light works only with the front hydraulic brakes, does you bike already have the brake wire harness ? Cause that's what stoped me, i also have a link to that second honda Stanley light assembly, let me know if your bike has that brake wire harness, i might still add a couple switches for the left hand , n foot brake .

Well, I’ve bought a ‘universal’ wiring harness for a motorbike, figured I could make it work. I bought a stop light to mount to the rear carrier and ordered some used headlamps as the buckets had rotted out of mine.
Jeep is also looking into the front MC with brake light switch for me, I’ll check those links out though, may save him the time of looking into it.

I managed to buy a ‘universal’ rear brake pedal switch that clamps to the frame with a spring down to the pedal.

Realistically the lights only need to work once a year, that’s for the MOT, I’ll never ride it on the highway but it has to be road worthy to use on byways(trails). Nobody will ever question lights not working as very few people venture over byways, especially an area called ‘the plain’ which is where I’ll spend most of my time as it’s so vast.

Thanks everyone for parts searching for me, very much appreciate your time :)

I love how across the pond they FORCE you to make the quad road legal, yet over here, its virtually IMPOSSIBLE to get them road legal....

Unfortunately those links don’t work Wilson, only the brake switch stay bracket showed up. If there’s a foreman lever in one of those links that looks in good useable condition with a brake switch fitted I’ll forward you some money if you PM me some details.
If you don’t mind and have time of course.

We can buy them new road registered or agricultural registered, but of course a new 500 foreman for example costs just over £6500 and I don’t have that kind of money spare.
My 300 will undergo the same test MOT that a car has to, so it has to be up together once a year really. Mechanically it’s perfect, just needs the lights and speedo sorting out.

I'd look into maybe a foot brake and light combo off an old honda motorcycle. I know there is a rear foot brake set up on my 1977 XL 100.

I thought that problem might come up, try this>>>sign out of ebay, THEN click on one of the links and let me know , you should be asked to sign back in...... Do so , then re click the link and let me know what happens. I've had this same dang issue....
