While going over the rear brake on my 90 TRX 350 to free everything up and regrease it, I discovered that an almost unworn pad has come unbonded from the shoe. It seems a shame to have to toss it so I am looking into rebonding it. Looks like Anabond is the stuff to use--if I can find any-- Has anyone ever tried this and if so, how successful were you.

Gorilla glue might work, but the problem with using glues is that they might hold for a while and then, all of a sudden, break loose at the worst possible time.

If you do try to glue them, use some type of clamps to hold them until the glue dries and it will have a better chance of holding.

I know this is off topic but how do you post a new topic??
Go to the section that you want to post in and on the left side of the screen, toward the top of the page right above where the list of threads start, you will see "New Thread". Just click on that.

You can take a look at Anabond here.
I have never heard of it either, but brake shoes get bonded on someway, and it sure looks like some sort of glue. I only want to do thids as a temporary measure to get this machine out running to discover what else it may need.
Then I would for sure get some new shoes for it.
I would need to clamp it in several places for sure.

I agree, they are originally glued on with some type of industrial grade glue.
