I don't think there's a disc brake conversion kit for the rear. If there is, I've never seen one.

I always had better luck by removing the drain plug from the bottom of the drum brakes. I don't think there's any way to keep mud and water out and it's better that it drains back out than it is to get trapped inside, because it will wear your brake shoes out quicker.
