I have a Honda 2003 TRX250ex. Piston blew apart. In its self distruction it tore up the cylinder wall pretty good, but not so bad I can't bore it clean. However, it is going to go about 050 over. Any idea's on what piston I can stick back in? I haven't seen any 250ex pistons more than 040, and I cannot confirm a possible piston pin change or lenght of a 300ex piston of the same year, or if it is even possible to use. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Wesco doesn't have a factory piston that goes large enough...236cc is as high as they have for a 250ex. Now that doesn't mean they don't have a piston that will fit, just not sure how to look for it.

I don't know that you can go .050 over on the stock cylinder. .030 is the biggest you can go I think. You may have to get it resleaved.

You will need to get the piston before you get it bored. They will take the measurements of the piston and bore it to that size.
