Blue fenders/plastics

Hey guys..

Planning ahead here, towards the end of this year I plan on tearing my bike apart and reprinting/powder coating the frame & carriers etc this will see my 300 pretty much complete apart from general maintenance.
My main aim is to try and source genuine blue fenders and a tank of possible, apparently blue was never an option here in the UK.
How common are blue 300's in the USA and Canada, am I going to find it difficult to source any? Does anybody have any they would like to part with?

I did look on (I think it was) Meirs website but they don't seem to have the desperate black trim on the outer edges, it looks like the fenders are a one piece item.

They are very hard to come by here. I do have a set, but I would bet it would cost upwards of $300 just to ship them to you.

I don't mind paying Manny, my red ones aren't the best and I'm set on getting a blue set lol. I don't plan on selling my 300 so I'm not overly fussy about spending on it.
When you say you have a set does that mean you would sell them or are you keeping as spares for yourself?

It would cost that to ship them in the US.

Shipping to the UK would probably be twice that or more.

And yeah, the blue fenders are rare and $$$$ if you can find them in good shape.
Paint the red ones ? :wink
I'll wait, a good set will turn up, like I say I really don't mind paying the dollars, im in no rush anyway.
Noooo way, not painting my red set, there not the best but it just destroys them doesn't it. Plus, I'll have to paint them 5 times a year lol
I don't mind selling them, but the rear is not in good shape. it has a very large crack on it. the front however, is in good shape.
Could you post or PM a picture of the crack in the tears when you get chance? There is no major rush though.
Just throwing this back out there, I still want blue fenders/plastics, there's no major rush (the wedding pretty much swallowed all ATV funds!) but if any of you spot any at a fair price please point me in that direction.

Thanks guys :)
I find that the paint last longer than the fenders do , I got a lot more cracks in the plastic than peels and chips in the paint
