Posting for a co-worker. He has a 94 fourtrax and when he shuts key off it blows the main fuse. Any ideas? Thanks for the help!

Check the wiring/connections at the ignition switch, the kill switch and the battery.

sounds like some bare wire maybe , insulation worn off and when key is turned it causes it to touch metal and short out!

I'll wager that he replaced the ignition switch and hasn't told ya about that... and the ignition switch he installed is for an older (AC-CDI) bike. Or, its a china switch. Time to ask the owner some questions. Particularly need to know whether there are any china parts on the bike or not. If so, he's wasting your time.
