On this Rubicon project I picked up the seller said it wasn't running right, would throw error codes whenever it got wet etc. Final straw for him was when the swingarm threads disappeared.
So I've gotten everything swapped over to a new/used frame. I soaked the carb in Berrymans and blew it out before putting it back on, and discovered the edges of the diaphram in the carb had ragged holes in them.
Luckily I had an extra carb so I robbed the diaphragm off of that one, (replacement is freaking $75!) but what would cause actual holes in the rubber? Is that from a backfire or ?
Just need a battery, bleed the brakes, get the front and side fenders put on, and get the winch wires run and the front bumper with winch mount installed and I'll be ready to give her a test run.
