I put a 20amp in instead on a 10amp now it will start but the throttle cable gets so hot it’s melting the plastic cover. So something is shorting thru it I changed the carb out a year ago with a China one I don’t know

unplug the bowl heater on the carb and i bet tht fixes your problem i had that happen on a shitty china carb on a rancher,its not really needed anyways

China parts will ALWAYS cause an issue.. It's mentioned SO MANY times in this forum!!

Get online and search powersportsnation.com, buy yourself a good used OEM Keihin carb and be done.

Drop kick that China carb as far away as you possibly can!!

i cant say i havent done this myself before, but putting a bigger fuse in, is not the best idea.. i was lucky, the bigger fuse blew, before it could cause x-tra damage.. ya best not make a habit of it. :) course if you got a lot of x-tra money, who am i to judge..
