Went to start my 2002 honda fourtrax today and there was no power to the dash. No lights, no neutral light etc.. My main fuse was blown. I checked all my wires for a possible grounding issue and could not see any frayed wires. I UNPLUGGED the regulator/rectifier, replaced the fuse, and everything worked fine and the bike started (still unplugged). Shut off the bike, plugged in the regulator/rectifier and it immediately blew the fuse (before even turning the key back on). Would the regulator/rectifier be the issue or is it possible that there is indeed a frayed/grounded wire somewhere that I missed?? Any help is greatly appreciated!!
