when i start my 08 honda 420 rancher, the F/I indicator light blinks 7 times ....recently put an hmf exhaust and optimizer on....is this causing my problem....also the radiator fan immediately comes on...am 15 and my dad is not a real good mechanic

7 short blinks indicates the ECT (engine coolant temperature) sensor. Make sure you are full on coolant and check the plug connection that plugs into the ECT sensor and make sure it's clean and tight. Also, make sure you have a good battery and it's fully charged. If all these check good, you could have a bad ECT sensor.
