Bought 2 new 420 fourtrax and went for our first ride together without kids this Friday and had a blast. Wife"s idea for our 12 th wedding anniversary (I am a very lucky boy) had babysitter and hit the trails. I have been wanting to upgrade the tire for a while and wife was not thrilled. Long story short she punctured a tire, went flat on trailer. Now we are upgrading. Dealerships is recommending swamp lites, riding in Calgary in the foothills, mud, rocks, dirt. I was originally thinking Mud lite from my research. Going with 25" on stock rims. Do the swamp lites wear faster? Any one riding these tire any recommendations? Also thinking of maybe running 2 different sets on each quad. Thanks.

I highly recommend the Maxxis Bighorn or the ITP Terracross. They are both possibly the best all around utility tire. They are great in moderate mud(not a mudding tire), on rocks they kick arse and on hard packed they are extremely smooth. They both wear amazingly too.

I run Mudlites and like them pretty good. They are also 6-ply and wear great.

Had a co worker that had swamp lites he hated them. I run maxxis zillas and love them. bro in law has mud lites they are a great tire but he is get zillas next. but on a side note the big horns or even GBC dirt devils " I am running them on three quads right now" or dirt tamers would be a great tire as well.
