Getting ready to install a new piston on my 06 400ex and I am curious what the best way to flush out the crankcase is? My stock piston was pretty beat up and I want to make sure there isn't any pieces of it in the crankcase.
agreed ^^^^^..and it's best if you take both side covers off..so you will know for sure thier isn't any pieces that got stuck any where near the stator or flywheel..this can give you a bad day !!..also make sure to inspect your oil pump..tiny pieces have been known to get lodged in it..not offten..but it does happen.
