I have been having trouble with my battery being drained since I bought my 2001 450 forman es I have gone through 3 batteries is there any recalls or anything on these machines for that reason

Will your battery hold a charge when you're not using it? I doubt that you got 3 bad batteries in a row, but I'd first start by making sure the battery is ok. If it is, I would say your stator is bad - that's just my guess.

look up other posts this has happened a few times helmut or shadetree will have a step by step to check it
