I am working on a 2010 rancher and have taken the bank angle sensor off and it sounds like that there is water in it. Should there be any kind of liquid sound coming out of it when you shake it?

Hi: The Bank Angle Sensor doesn't have mercury in it -- there is a small circuit board inside it with metal pendulum that swings by a sensor on the small circuit board when the ATV is on its left or right side ( 70 degrees) -- which takes the power off the engine stop relay and the ATV shuts down
