I have a 2000 fourtrax 4x4 es, I think my rear brakes are worn out, How do I confirm that they are for sure?

check 1 of the manuals. some show pictures. should be even on the brake shoe, all of it, when there are thin spots or pits, then ya got a problem. those brake shoes are old anyway. did you check the inner diameter of the drum, with the specifications? if its shot,, go disk..
