Ok guys I've been messing with an 02 350ES for a couple months now. Quad starts and runs great. As soon as you put it in gear the display goes out but comes back on. You can ride it for about 15 minutes and almost 15 minutes exactly every time you better be happy with whatever gear your in because your going to be stuck in it until the quad cools down. Now before everyone starts screaming angle sensor I've already covered that. It has a new angle sensor, speed sensor and new battery. Nothing has helped the problem. I'm officially at a loss

Did you adjust the clutch? My 02 was doing same—I would get it started head to the trail jump off and it wouldn’t shift after I got thru the gate. Works good now

I had the same exact issue. I replaced the angle sensor and still had the same issue. I ended up having to pull the gears out and lubricated them with white lithium grease. After I put it all back together everything worked just fine, going on little over a year with no issues. When you pull the gears out check the teeth to see if there are any chips in them that could also be a cause to your problem.
