I'm thinking I need to replace my coil on my 86 350 4x4 b/c my spark is barely visible when I hold the plug to the head. Reason I'm asking about using an automotive coil is bc we have a ton of them sitting in a box in my dad's shop. Didn't know if the draw from one would be too much for the electrical system on the bike.

I use automotive oil. As long as it is the same type as the book says to use then it is fine.

Coil, not oil. Ignition coil.

I don't know about an automotive coil, but a coil off of about any Honda ATV would probably work.
