I need help point blank. I bought an 87 trx250x running. I bought a carb rebuild kit, and it just dont seem like the right parts. Unless the previous owner jetted the carb. I say that because everything on the carb is bigger than the parts I ordered. Maybe it's a 300ex carb? Because it's the exact carb that's on my 02 300ex. I dont know but if anyone is local and maybe give a hand it would be grateful, I cant really learn over the keyboard I'm a hands on person. I can even throw some cash in for the inconvenience. I have a shop aswell for convenience sake.

sorry Tyler....SC boy here..but even if I was close, I'd have to plead ignorance on this.

I am popping on here though just to note that a while back I ordered a complete carb to replace on my old 79 honda..and there were a couple differences..and yet, talking to some guys on another forum, they were eager to find out where I got my carb from , cause ones they were buying weren't even close...lots of ebay chinese stuff..and yeah, they'll have some reference sheet that says it'll match up, and then doesn't.

check in with the guys over on this tapatalk forum...they can be some help with the older bikes..whether 2,3, or 4 wheelers.
