could it be the connector next to the number 34 in this print , might be a power supply for accessories , it appears nothing plugs into it in the pic and from the dirt inside the plug , nothing has been plug in to it
I think it's that 1 next to 34 on diagram but everything works just lights horn and rear break light starts fine and runs well just didn't want to buy a new harness just for front lights I got a light bar
I was thinking maybe rear light wires , but with your new pic and the print of the rear light , I can see it is a two wire plug and the rear light is a three wire plug --------------- did you own this atv since new ? my theory is that it was an accessory plug that previous owner over loaded the wire with some electrical device
I had something very similar happen on the front end of a 300 Honda , the P.O. over loaded the accessory power socket and it melted wires all the way back to the battery and took out wires next to it , it was hard to find as you couldn't see the problem as the loom covered it , I could have done some repairs to the harness but just swopped the harness out ------- I am telling you this story as you might have problems hidden under the loom
I tried to get to the wiring diagram—the manual is 600 pages so scrolling with my phone a bit tedious.
So best thing would be for you to download the manual or get one, go to Chapter 25? Find the light, horn rear brake circuits a trace those wires—find where those wire colors tie in. You know the colors although you have a Bunch of wires in that thing narrow your search to the colors.
Thanks for that so much time on this quad fixed a few more burnt wires today but might have to have a look near the motor were the diagram shows where the lights run through still have that burnt plug aswell I don't know what it dose
