I currently and still using the Honda recomonded NGK plug. Running a HMF Optimizer and Exhaust I would assume a hotter plug would be better. I have seen a Indium Plug from NGK. Any one know the part number for the Indium plug in a 2007 Rancher 420. The E3 is a 3.36 but cant find one anywhere?

a hotter plug doesnt mean better spark you may end up with premature ignition, you should be able to convert the info from your plug to the other with a plug catalog just ask the guys at to look at the book the back usually has a conversion chart by manufacturer good luck and tell us how it works out

I have tried to find the Indium plug I have not had to much luck and the local parts places cant find anything if its not in there computer. I understand the hotter plug not solving the problem hotter is not really what I want but maybe a better igniting plug. When I bough the bike new in 2007 it had a different style plug. It had 4 electrodes on it and worked very well. The replacement plug is the NGK v-power BKR5E-11 it works ok.
