I think it woks pretty good you will have to resleeve for sure though what else have you doane to the engine?

I talked to the guy that built my engine for the guy I got the quad from all he remembered was it was 12:1 and bored .060 over new sleeve but he didn't remember if it was a 76mm or 80mm piston they were looking at both so I guess I will find out for sure when I pop off the head to put on my ported one. it better be an 80 or ill be upset...lol

All the experiance ive had with big bore kits is bad! Unless ur prepared to re-sleeve fairly often! Could have been my fault but ive had a few and one was professionally done and it still fried.

thanks for the input. i have read that if you do not rejet the carb accurately it can reduce longevity significantly. i was mainly wondering if they are worth the money or if i could take that 300 bucks and do something else.

I don't know if i would jump right on a 80mm kit but a good 40 or 60 over 12:1 kit, a good cam,head work, exhaust and a flatside carb would be a better route to take.

anyone know how well this kit works for the 250x? i have been thinking about trying one.
How did this work out did you end up using it I have sametrx and same problem smokes bad I want go bigger with piston I'm rebuilding head porting it out a little. I would like to know if weisco piston 75mm was a good fit I will bore it out just not trying to reserve it thanks. How is your 250x doing?mine is white and blue
