You need to get you a locker in the front diff.

Yeah, that way you will have a true 4 wheel drive, instead of a 3 wheel drive.

Ive put them in jeeps before but not a atv. I bet it could be a pain but the extra traction is amazing, that is if it can get to the ground.

High Lifter has them, but I didn't see one for the 300.

You can do that, but it will make it hard to steer. If you just ride in the mud all the time it wouldn't matter, though.

Yeah, I like those!!

I looked on Ebay for the lockers and they aren't any cheaper. I only saw one and it was $399. Those are a little high. I don't have one on my Honda, either, but I've never really needed it. I have one on my Grizzly, but only because they come from the factory with the push button diff lock.
