Okay so ive got a 04 forenman S and I ride with my brother who has a 07 king quad on 28's and snorkels ect. My other buddy has a 07 Rincon and needless to say its a little tough to compete. That being said my foreman is on a 2" lift with 25" kenda executioners and we ride in nasty mud here in N.C. and it does okay for what it is. So the wife talked me out of going to the bass pro shop yesterday and looking at some artic cats because she knows me and I probably would have bought one. So now I have convinced myself I can make the foreman what I need it to be but I am cheap so here goes.. I want bigger tires and love the executioners. Problem is im not sure if 27x10 front and 27x12's rear will work on my stock rims safely. I cant find 27x8's and x10's.. Next I need to snorkel it as I just replaced the cylinder and piston about 2 weeks ago and since have hydrolocked it twice. Are you guys snorkeling the crankcase breather seperately or leaving it in the box? Also should I put a drain on the airbox? Also the lift.. Ive had the lift on for a couple of weeks and just broke a axle on Sat night(boot was newly torn and I rode it anyways, I know dumb). I need some better axle guards as this is the second boot I have torn in less than a year. I found some but not sure if they are better than stock or just flashy diamondplate? Any help would be great as I love my Honda and I just need to make it more mud friendly, thanks.

I live in charlotte in the steel creek area and we have quite a bit to ride right here at home. Mostly mud and lots of it and powerline trails ect. We are actually probably gonna hit carolina adventure world this weekend or head up to mountain city.

I dont know much about all thatstuff. but the axle guards, make some my buddy had a problem with his old 300 fourtax and he made axle guards because the ones he bought still let the axle get abuse from the elements. so he cut and welded some stell ones and hes had them 4 about 15 years now and has not had the problem since.

Well I will give a update on the trip to CAW barring the weather this weekend. As for the axle guards, I was definately considering making my own as I am a mechanic by trade and love to fab stuff it is just the time constraints that had me considering buying some based on the price but I do feel by the pics that they wouldnt do justice for the abuse I put on my machine and the terrain we ride. So update on my situation. I am about one click away from ordering some 27x10's front and 12 rears for my stockers for some extra clearance and keeping executioners because I do love these tires. Im gonna do a snorkel this week and replace the brakes front and rear and the snapped axle. I hope I wont have to adjust or jet my carb after the snorkel but I will let you guys know. I will also post some pics of the results. I am also seriously considering the front diff lock and any input would be awesome. Anymore tips for improvements would be greatly appreciated, thanks guys.
