K&N stuff is good for paper unless it says foam filter.

I use to use PJ1 and have switched to Notoil. I love the notoil stuff. It is clean enough to use in your kitchen sink when cleaning, they oil works really well and is extremely tacky. When you are done installing the filter youo can use the cleaner to wash your hands... great stuff

The type of riding I do is EXTREMELY dusty, paper lets more particle through. If you are a track guy where the track is prepped and not to dusty you can run a K&N(paper) no problem.

Got a solvent free, yes free from dealer to try called natures ultimate all natural, lemon and citrus. Used today and it did a great job. Sprayed on and let stand for 1 minute and rinsed. Then cleaned in sunlight and rinsed and the filter looks brand new. Hands were left clean no grease and smelling like lemons. Not sure where to get got trial size.

I called notoil and they advise not to use their oil on oem filter, says it will brake it down. Problem for me I bought it and they don't make a filter for the 2009 trx420fpg. Just a heads up!

i did some research and they say the alcohol they use to thin the oil to help it spread through the filter is what messes up the filter so try using the no toil evolution oil No-Toil Industries EVOLUTION OIL 16 OZ this is all natural and should not harm the oem filter
