it’s a sealed filter unit made and designed to keep running water in. So it’s guaranteed to keep water out. I didn’t want to worry about trying to seal the factory air box and reseal every time I needed to check or change the air filter. It was about 15$ and I spent about hr testing both factory system and spa filter. I wanted something that looked good and not just factory all siliconed and rigged up and I didn’t want 10 different peace’s and fitting looking like a plumber on meth. Lmao. And with other mods like my 400ex rear shock conversion I had to lose the factory air box for clearance. Just another one of my genius ideas.
