I am in need of a aftermarket carburetor for a 1988 Honda Fourtrax 300 2wd I’m am Leary about all these cheap carburetors that pop up when i punch in the information . Does anyone recommend a specific one ? What is the best aftermarket choice please help.I really don’t want to spend alot of money on this atv . it is just used around the farm.

You don’t wanna spend OEM money on your quad but you want OEM reliability?
Take it to a Honda shop and let them rebuild your carb. $275. Seriously. best advice you’ll get.

OEM carb is Keihin VE90A
I only see one on fleabay today and it is missing the piston valve

Yeah i think it can happen
as an example i sold a great rebuilt VE90E carb lat year for $225 i think
If you can get a complete carb, a Shindy carb kit ($35), choke valve ($40) and a primer pump ($35). Absolutely i think you can bring it in under $275.

Power Sports Nation has at least one VE90A from an 89 model but it looks rough. They have another that looks rebuildable
