Hello i was wondering if any one had any actual horsepower numbers from a dyno or something similer. I plan on getting the big gun pipe, a fuel programer, a k&n air filter and a snorkel and I was wondering if that would increase my horse power noticeably or not. I want to turn some 27" silver backs. Also is the clutch kit worth it or does it take alot away from my top end. right now I ride with alot of can am and polaris big bore riders. i keep up with them and beat them in the swamp. but they destroy me in deep mud and river crossings. so I still want to keep up with them but not lose to much speed and power because of big tires.

The Snorkel is going to restrict air flow a bit so that will hinder your power gains a bit but the exhaust and filter should be a bigger increase than the snorkel will decrease

clutch kit wont effect top end.. all a clutch kit does is let the engine reach a higher rpm before it enguages from a dead stop..once you get moving it does nothing

Anytime you mention "dyno" you are opening a can of worms. What I mean is you can take the same bike to ten different dynos and get ten different numbers. If you want a good read take YOUR bike to a dyno before adding anything and then take it back when you are done. A dyno is really just a tuning tool, or a good conversation starter. I have seen some really good arguments over a "dyno"!!!!!:icon_ nono:

Agreed^^^ I have seen as big of a difference as 5hp in between 2 different dyno machines.

If anything is going to rob topend power it will be the 27" Silverbacks, you will loose 10 to 15 mph, big and heavy tires
