well found out where my air/fuel screw is.its on the very bottom and d shaped and the idle screw is up top.was searching all over because when i put a 45 jet from the 42 it stopped backfiring but now seems like to much fuel cause it sputters creeping around in gear.hopefully i can go back down and adjust it perfect.

The fuel or air mixture screw is always on the bottom of the carb. Some carbs have an air screw and some carbs have a fuel screw. If the screw is at the front of the carb, near the intake, it is a fuel screw. If the screw is at the rear of the carb, toward the airbox, it is an air screw. There is a difference. I don't think most people know this. But most of the time, you will have the fuel screw.
