hello everybody,just bought a new 500 4x4--any advice on prepping for water,mudding.200.-300.00 is a little steep right now for snorkel

Welcome to the Forums.... Buy a boat... lol you can actually fab your own snorkel kit out of pvc pipe for less monies.

Welcome to the site, I agree that making your own out of PVC would be cheaper and you can run it how you please. Protect all of your electrical connections with some dielectric grease.

Red has a great idea with the Dielectric Grease. As cheap as that syuff is, it will save you more headaches than you could ever know just by un-plugging the connectors, greasing them thoroughly, and re-connecting them.
