Guys,

Ive got a 1998 Honda Foreman 400 that increases the voltage to the battery as you increase the throttle. I have seen it up to 18 volts. I wont run it until this is fixed.
Ive checked the stator as best I could by instructions through Partszilla but not having much luck on how to check a voltage regulator.

Also as a side note, the fan comes on when the key turns on. It also increases in speed as you increase the throttle. May be something totally different but thought I would mention it.
Has had some rat damage to the wiring in the battery box but this has been repaired.
New battery installed.

Any help or advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks In Advance

I just went through testing the reg/rec and it checked out with the meter. This test was done in line with the Youtube video supplied by Rocky Mountain Bikes.

Hmmmm
