Hey yall. While cleaning the recon today, I put it up on the a** end to clean under it. I noticed the a-arms had wore groves in them. I turned the wheels in the direction of the grove and the rims are wearing into the arm. My question finally is, Could i put wider a-arms to fix the problem to waer the wheels don't rub or should I just replace the stock ones and rig the the bump stops on the steering its self?
Thanks,
Blake

Sounds like your wheels have the wrong backspacing and are rubbing when you turn, might look into some 1/2 to 1" wheel spacers to push your wheels out a little.

That was my back up if it was stupid to find wider a-arms.

Wider a-arms won't keep the wheels from rubbing the arms when turning

There not the stock ones for the recon I think these came off of a rancher, but there a inch wider than the stock rims are.
