i have read some of the threads regarding front brakes and am having trouble with mine as well
i installed new bearings and brakes on the front (mechanical brakes)
I have some resistance in the handle but will handle will bottom out and brakes barely hold
do I loosen the bleeder valves on the wheels and at the reservoir and let it "air out"
thanks

If it has Hydralic brakes you need to blled them. For the front take cap of the resevoir on handle bars and make sure it stays full. pump the brake and let the bleeder loose to get the air out.

X2 , A;so make sure when you pump them to hold the lever in while someone loosens the bleeder, let the fluid fly and tighten it up before you release the lever. lather rinse and repeat..... until you get a good feeling lever. check your fluid levels between bleeds you don't want to run out.. by the way if you got a fluid resovior you have hydraulic brakes.
