My '97 300ex seems to smoke intermittently. The smoke is clearly blue.. and it happens every now and again. I'd think it was rings if it was consistent. I'm think it's valve seals / valve guides. Has anyone experienced a problem like this before?

valve guide seals..or oil ring..either way..if your gonna go through the trouble of tearing it down..you may as well replace the rings..i would...make sure you hone your cylinder..and don't use WOT for a couple hours.
