when holding the start button there is no spark when let go of the start button you get spark,will eventualy start but is not right. please help?

Welcome to the forums. I don't know if this is your problem, but sometimes when a CDI goes bad, it won't spark until you quit pushing the start button and then it will spark once. But usually, when the CDI goes bad, they won't start at all.

Also, your kill switch could be going bad. Try moving your kill switch back and forth and see if it has any effect on the spark.
