atv worked fine,in the middle of operation engine shut off,engine wouldnt start.tried new battery,worked at first,now back to same problem.I can kick start but no key start,seems as its not charging itself.Any solutions or suggestions? Thanks for any!

if you can kick start it..and it runs..then your charging side of the stator is bad..,those stators in some bikes use 2 sides..one fires the c.d.i..the other recharges the battery..and runs the lights and so forth..my guess is..your charging side of your stator could be bad...also..you might wanna check out your rectifier..that can keep the stator from recharging your battery...and welcome to the formus.

your welcome...as far as not being mechanically inclined....you keep working on your bike..by the time your done fixing everything that goes wrong with it..you will be !..lol
