Why are you going to buy 400ex parts for a 300ex that makes no sense?! I have both 300ex and a 400ex and I have worked on both and They seem close but I still don't see the point in using 400ex parts on a 300ex.

Good Luck,
Cameron

You cannot use a 400 rear shock. However a 660 Raptor rear shock is a direct fit 2002 if I remember? In order to use the front shocks you will need a shock relocation kit like from www.diamondjcustoms.com . all year 400 ex shocks will work. The A-Arms are also a direct fit you will need the 400 tie rods and use the 300ex spindles (the 400 ones will have too much camber). Also You can use YFZ front brake calipers 2005 will work these are dual piston calipers much better braking. TRX450R Front master and tail lamp from a 450r will give you a brake light. . .

This is a very common "budget" mod. It will widen and soften the ride. My 250X was set up with 400ex arms and 450r front shocks
