I have a 93 TRX200D Fourtrax Type II and have been working on making some repairs. I recently replaced the front sprocket and when I took out the lower bolt that held on the sprocket cover, I notice oil came out of that hole. When I put the bolt back in it wouldn't tighten up and now oil is leaking around that bolt. It is #31 on the diagram below. The end threads look a little boogered up but could it be that the threads are stripped inside the crankcase? If is is, how could I fix that? Any ideas on how to stop the oil leak? I'm going to look at getting a new bolt and try that but if it is stripped inside is there an easy fix? Thanks for the help...

Maybe you just need a washer for the bolt. That's a crucial part. Look for the easy things first. ;)
