Just like the title says 1993 Honda 300 4x4 except the guy says it skipped time... says it will try to start but doesn't. He has the title for it.

He says it ran like a month ago and I asked if it smoked... he said if it did, Very very little.

What are your guys' thoughts? He's asking $350.

He's gonna send me a pic and I'll post it here soon.

Also what should I really expect to do on this to get it running? New timing chain, valves & seals possibly, should I just go ahead and do the rings too? Also of course spark plug and oil.

The rear end in it is worth $350, if it's in good condition. If it just jumped time, a new timing chain and possibly guides will fix it as long as it didn't bend any valves. I would just go ahead and do a full top end rebuild and be done with it.

Anything specific I should look at when inspecting it?
Check the condition of both diffs, front axles, and especially the rear axle bearings. The Fourtrax 300 is notorious for the rear axle bearings going bad. This lets the axle move and wears the gears out in the rear diff.
