Hi, I have a 1993 Fourtrax 4x4 which I bought used. The gentlemen took off the rear brakes and told me the front brakes were not working right. He had brought it to several mechanics and they didn't fix the issue. The issue is that the front brakes never seem to grip well and it usually takes several tries to make them grip and when they do its more of a slow stop. What would be recommended? Also...how hard is it to redo the back brakes? seems like the wire was just cut.

Thanks.

Welcome to the forums. For the front brakes, your shoes might be worn out or you might be able to adjust them up.

Also...how hard is it to redo the back brakes?
It's not too hard if you can get the brake drum to come off, but most of the time it will be seized on and will be a PITA to remove.
