Hi all!
So as i mentioned earlier, i am trying to sell my '92 Honda Fourtrax 300 4X4, and i'm trying to post it on ATVtrader.com, however, it doesnt have the choice for a just plain Honda Fourtrax 300, it has to be either a trx rancher, rincon, and some others, the question is, how do i know which one mine is? Thanks, Peter

a TRX300 would be a Sport Quad -----a " TRX300FW Fourtrax " is a Utility Quad and 4wd ------- a 2wd would be a TRX300A Fourtrax

Where is it at , how much , what color , hows about some pics

I'm in Iowa, Its Red, here are some pics, however, just today i found some problems with it, you really have to mash it in to get anywhere and when you let off, it just stops really fast... i think the oil is leaking somewhere as well.
it comes with this plow as well

might be the rear brake holding you back and bringing you to a stop , is the brake arm frozen stiff , use a hammer and knock it back down if so , or an axle or differential bearing bad and that is where oil is leaking

around here fish, we call a trx300 just a 2wd, and a trx300fw would be called a 4wd. we don't use the call sign trx300A around here.

To isolate problem from front or rear , jack all 4 wheels off the ground and try to turn the wheels by hand

the brake arm is #9 in this pic , it will get rusted and locked in the engaged position , I have seen where you have to hit it back to get the brake to release

it could be your rear end locked up ------------ is your 300 4wd , it could be the front diff or the transfer case locked up ---- does the engine spin over in neutral ?
