Took my 91 I just bought apart and found the cylinder head had some chips near the valves but didn't seem to affect them. Except my exhaust valve leaks but does not leak where the chip is. What should I do Do I need a new head or can I get it fixed

I think it was a foreign object that bounced around causing those dings. Don't worry about that. You could polish them out tho. I agree with Retro that the engine is worn out. I'd do a complete check and overhaul of the top end. You can ask us for details about that later when you have specific questions.
Took the head to the shop I use and they are gonna do a head service on it and get it all fixed up! I appreciate all the responses !! Thanks
Good for you. Check the cam chain and sprocket while you're at it. This is a good time to clean the carb, tank, petcock, air filter, change oil etc.
