91 250x, wont go in gear anymore(worked fine prior)...im thinking clutch kit will fix problem !! is it easy to do ?? any opinions on what it could be or ??

did it all of a sudden stop? Have you tried to adjust your cable?

was riding it, then took a break...went to ride again n wouldnt go in gear !
tryed cable, nothing happened !

I agree. Can you shift gears, by rocking it back and forth, when the engine is off? If not, you have a transmission problem.

tryd what u said n it does go in gear, sorta hard 2 push, back wheels turn tho ! with engine on n in gear it wont pull away to drive ! so clutch or tranny problem

If it's actually going in gear with the engine off, then it would seem like it would have to be a clutch problem. But what I don't understand is that you should have noticed the clutch slipping before it completely quit pulling.

ya i noticed it slippin abit now i think of it !! just goin buy clutch kit n hope 4 best !!
