I need to rebuilt the master cylinder on my 94 300 trxfw.

Can you guys recommend the correct split ring pliers for this? I have a set from harbor freight but I don't think they are long enough.

I use my set I got from sears a few years back. the trick ?..use the lower/short side of the hole !. you can work one of the ends of the clip around to the short side of the hole, then grab the two ends to compress the cir-clip, then carefully pry it out. been doing it this way for many years. you will need to compress the piston down enough to get the clip out.

and if that does now work ^^ ?, you can go old school, use a couple nails ( 16 penny ), sharp points, grab the holes, use hand pressure to compress the ends, carefully pry the clip out. if its rusted ?, well..this makes it harder..lol.
