It ran fine, went to restart it, nothing ? Pulled the plug and see no spark after grounding it to cylinder fins. Any thoughts on where to start looking ?....thanks

Did you try a different plug?

Remove neutral sensor wire and ground it to the frame, see if that works.

Check power to coil..

It's something simple for sure

Must follow diagnostics in service manual and parts links in my signature block.
Is your battery old? D models have to have a good battery To start

spark plug clean? correct plug?
you have to have a neutral light, youR CDI connectors have to be clean (use contact cleaner and plumbers flux brush then apply a thin film of permatex dielectric grease with a clean plumbers flux brush. lastly take the spark plug cap off your coil wire—look at the coil wire and cap connections (corroded?)—snip off a half inch or inch of the wire, brush The cap connector and try again.

What did you find? Mine did this and replaced the CDI and it fixed the problem
