On my 89 350 I have a wire that is located on the right side by the kick start and gas reserve lever. When I turn the key the neutral light does not come on and I can't start. If I wiggle the wire around the light come on and I can start. This wire has a strange connection on it. Does it have a fuse in it or can I just cut out the connector and splice in a new wire?

Thanks

that connector goes to your neutral switch on the lower right bottom side..it just pops on the switch. try bending the round connector in some..and pop it back on..this is behind the metal cover by the way..you have a neutral switch..reverse switch..and your oil temp sensor behind this metal cover.
