Maybe someone here can guide me in the right direction.
Purchased this trx, starts fine, was stuck in a gear when purchased. Moved around quite quickly. Could not shift. Shift lever would not move into a differant gear. Pulled apart the sub trans. Shift lever now moves 3 positions. Reinstalled the sub transmission and the lever locks up again (now in no gear..will not move) Leaving the cover off and moving the machine it seems like the gears are mating wrong and it wants to bind up the reduction shaft with the reverse driven gears. Any suggestion?:hail::hail:

Thanks

Man I don't have a clue. The only thing I know about the trans. In that quad is that the front sprocket has to be turning for it to shift and that a bent fork will cause it to lock up. Other than that you know more than I do about it. Sorry.

try re adjusting the clutch pack but I think I would have to say that if someone took the gears out they did mot mate them properly or the shift fork is binding.
