Went riding in Gold Butte National Monument. Put on over 300 miles and the machine ran flawlessly. Always started cold with little chock and about 2 cranks.
Its been since March since we last rode. Went to fire it up and no spark. Changed the plug, no spark on new plug.
Have tried kill switch in all positions, no spark.
Took front off bike, all wired connected and in tact. Going to check coil with my meter. Is there anything common to look for on these quads? Was running to good for it to be just dead like this.
Thanks ahead of time for the help.

Depends on how it has been stored all these years? If always stored indoors its less likely to be a switch issue. More likely so if its been a wet bike. Check for a working neutral light first though. At some point check the spark plug cable where it connects to the plug boot. Cut about 3/8" off the end of the cable and twist the boot back on. You can find a copy of the service manual in the manuals forum to guide you in diagnosis with your multimeter. Pretty basic stuff... start with switches and neutral light, then unplug the CDI and check all of the remaining components at the CDI plug. Welcome to the forums!

with spark plug in boot, laying on engine, crank it over, rap on the c.d.i. ( black box ) while cranking it over, if it sparks ?, then the c.d.i. is bad. make sure the neutral light is on !, or it won't spark even with a brand new c.d.i. !.

I would also suggest taking the kill switch apart to make sure there is no corrosion or issues behind the switch! I had an issue with mine.
