Hey guys, new to the forum and I have a question that I have not been able to find an answer to. My dad's '88 300 4x4 could use a new rear shock, something i've been wanting to get him for a while. I've found several new shocks for '93-'00 300's but nothing for the '88. I'm not paying $350 for a new OEM Honda rear shock.

So to the question: Does anyone happen to know what was changed in '93 to the rear shock design? Would it fit an '88 with some modification?

It should fit the same no change the only changes they made between them tears was the gearing . Welcome to the forums.

Yeah, I agree with mud, I believe the rear shocks are the same.
